Prints & Wall Pieces
Selected photographs from My Acadia, My Maine are available as finished wall pieces.
For each image, I may suggest a recommended size or material based on what I think best suits the photograph. Some images are especially strong on metal because they are built around light, water, fog, fire, sea smoke, ice, or reflected color. Others may work better on wood, canvas, acrylic, or premium photographic paper because of their warmth, texture, softness, depth, or sense of place.
The recommendation is only a guide. When available, I offer several quality options so the piece can fit the space, budget, and style of the person buying it.
Pieces are produced through a professional photographic lab that specializes in finished display work, then packaged and shipped after completion. Some finished pieces may also be available in local inventory at fairs, shops, or events.
If you are interested in a photograph, size, or material that is not currently listed, use the contact page and ask. I may be able to quote a custom piece or help you choose the format that best fits the image.
Why These Formats
-
Metal
Metal is often recommended for photographs built around light, water, fog, fire, ice, and reflected color. The image is infused into coated aluminum, giving the piece luminous color, fine detail, and a clean finished look.
-
Wood
Wood pieces may work especially well for warmer, earthier images — wildlife, orchards, trails, spruce, lichen, autumn leaves, and weathered Maine places. The natural surface gives the photograph a softer, more organic feel.
-
Canvas & Paper
Canvas can suit images that feel softer, moodier, or more painterly. Premium photographic paper may be best for quieter images where texture, shadow, and subtle tone matter more than shine or display impact.
-
Acrylic
Acrylic pieces can give photographs a deep, polished, gallery-like presence. They may work especially well for images with strong color, clean reflections, dramatic skies, or a sense of depth.
